Primo 600 Cypress Wood Table for Primo Oval XL Grill, 4 Wheels Review
I bought the XL Primo including Cypress table 2.5 years ago and the grill is perfect, but the table was a total and utter waste of good money and failed within 2 years. First, I never saw the Primo table I received in person. The one in the store that was the display was of far higher quality and to this date the Primo website shows a finer quality table than it actually ships. This picture shows the actual table available so at least it's not a bait and switch, but for $650 plus shipping it shouldn't rot and collapse in two years under normal conditions.Mine did exactly that. After less than a year, it started to lean towards one side and you could tell it was wearing out when rolling it. I'm a general contractor so it's not that I am incapable of tightening the bolts, but the Primo is simply too heavy for a bunch of 1" light cypress. The deck screws which were neatly installed from the bottom allow the slats to pull off under pressure and they rusted quickly. The wheels and locking were, however, first rate and I did salvage them for another use.
Build your own or have someone build something capable of handling the 250# grill or risk having to replace it or fail and drop your grill to the ground.
