Smokehouse Big Chief Front - Load Smoker Review
i have been smoking, grilling, and Barbecuing for many years. i previously owned a thermostatically controlled electric wood-chip smoker that was way more hype and expense than it was worth. Going back to simplicity, (The fancy one failed in less than 1 years use) i bought a Big Chief and have been extremely pleased with the results. i can honestly say i've done 30 pounds of beef jerky alone in this smoker. The salmon and cheese i have smoked were excellent as well. No smoking process is completely "hands-off", but the Big Chief is a simple, honest platform that will allow you to produce wonderful results. Their wood chips are inexpensive and work perfectly in the smoker. Also, IF you should ever need them, replacement parts and readily available, and it's made here in the USA!
