Purchased this item via one of Amazon's outside vendors after reading the description provided on Amazon's site. While the item appears to be of sound construction and capable of frying everything I wanted, I specifically chose this fryer because it came with a lid for the pot. Both in the description and the photo, there are references to the lid being included. However, when the item arrives, there is no lid and no lid mentioned in the manual. In fact, now going back to the King Cooker site, there is no mention of the lid.
